WID Featured on the South Whidbey Record

We’re extremely excited to announce that Whidbey Island Distillery was featured on the front page of the South Whidbey Record!

Please enjoy, and thanks to all of our friends for their support in bringing locally distilled spirits back to Whidbey Island!

Congratulations on bringing the artisan distiller movement to Whidbey Island. I’d love to talk with and see what you’re doing, if you should ever have the time. I’ve got a book on homemade fine spirits coming our in the spring, published by The Amphora Society, so I have more than a passing interest.

I wish you the best of luck, and I’m overjoyed to see the spread of the small-scale distillery.

I had the pleasure of meeting you and your mother at Hanson’s BBQ today. I am pleased that you have opened another artisan industry on Whidbey. I am a chemist and would be happy to help in any way I could including buying your Loganberry Liquor when it is ready.

Here is wishing you the best,
